Washington Cloud Regions Experience Degraded Network Performance

Today at 02:04 (UTC) we detected public network outage in Washington cloud region. At 02:05 (UTC) we restored the correct public network operation.
At 02:34 (UTC) we detected the second public network outage in the same locations. At 02:35 (UTC) we restored the correct public network operation again.
During outages you could observed an RTT increase and packet loss of up to 100% via the public network.

At 06:53 (UTC) today, public network problems were detected in the WAS1 regions of the Washington cloud regions. There may have been up to 100% packet loss during this time. However, at 07:03 (UTC), regular connectivity was reinstated.
These disruptions were due to worldwide network difficulties with one of the backbone providers, which handles a portion of the path. Traffic is now being rerouted through an alternate path.
